 "This is probably one of the most controversial subjects. I feel it is necessary to test on animals for research purpose solely, especially since some animals are breed for that purpose. Although i am against animal abuse, i agree that testing on animals benefits us in the long run, as long as the process is done right. I feel as though people like to pick at the negatives but forget where research like that has gotten us. I bet if those critics had to pick between saving these animals and curing cancer, they would pick curing cancer in a heartbeat." - Chisom

1. Hindsight Bias: The tendency to believe, after learning the outcome, that you knew it all along.
2. Overconfidence: We tend to think we know more than we do.
3. The Barnum Effect: It is the tendency for people to accept very general or vague characterizations of themselves and take them to be accurate.
4. Applied Research: Has clear, practical applications. (You can use it!)
